Absolute Welfare Organization has embarked on a transformative journey to support the well-being and care of lactating women within local hospitals by providing essential items such as Baby cloths, diapers, medical kits for their infants. This report presents an overview of our charity initiative and the impactful ways in which it has contributed to the welfare of lactating mothers and their newborns, while also reflecting on the transformative potential of such initiatives within the community.
Objective:
The main objective of our charity initiative was to alleviate the emotional and psychological stress often experienced by less preveleged and poor lactating women often experiencing shortages or complete lack of basic needs during their hospital stay. By providing items for their infants, we aimed to offer a source of solace and normalcy during a time that can be emotionally and physically challenging for new mothers.
Execution of the Charity Initiative:
Absolute Welfare Organization partnered with local hospitals to identify the needs of lactating women and their infants. Through extensive collaboration with hospital staff and healthcare professionals, we were able to assess the emotional, physical and financial needs of new mothers and understand the potential impact of providing diapers and cloths to their infants during their hospital stay.
We carefully selected and distributed this items, considering them as a great source of support as some women only had towels to wrap their babies. No cloths nor diapers. The items were chosen with the understanding that they could provide a sense of normalcy and comfort for the infants and mothers minimizing the stress they would have experienced experience while in the hospital.
Impact and Results:
The impact of our charity initiative was truly heartening. We observed notable changes in the emotional well-being of the lactating women, who found solace in seeing their infants comfortable and clothed. Many expressed gratitude for the reprieve it provided during what is often a challenging and emotionally charged period.
Additionally, hospital staff and healthcare professionals reported observations of improved maternal well-being, with instances of increased well being of the babies and reduced stress levels among the women. The presence of this items also positively impacted the hospital environment, creating a sense of warmth and family-centric care within the wards.
